I realize this is off-topic, but any crystal ball insights as to if/when the UK may change their 14-day quarantine rules for a subset of the US (i.e. the North-East, with JFK, EWR, BOS, etc). With comparable or lower COVID rates, and the North-East states having 14-day quarantine rules of their own from the rest of the US, might the UK open up a special corridor?

Yes, it does! LOL. I was supposed to be in Langkawi right now. Singapore Airlines refunded me we with no hassles, Malaysia Airlines kept my money for domestic flights. Oye!

Sorry, I didn't hit the "Quote" Button:
I have automatic travel insurance with my HSBC Premier Card, but I don't think I will be covered as the trip has not been cancelled. I haven't spoken to HSBC yet as I was hoping that BA would cancel. I will hold out until mid-August. I am not sure why BA is being so flexible for only those who booked after March 3rd. I didn't know there was going to be a pandemic on Feb 12th. I would be happy to re-book, but BA said my booking date was outside of the free re-booking or voucher offer.

Mexico City was scheduled daily across summer months, but now September down to 4 a week which coincides more closely with normal off season frequency. Operating M,T, Th, S, different to the normal M, W, F, S, S.

My flight to Portland has gone to 0 availability in all classes so I think that this is now definitely going to be cancelled. Good job too - I really do not want to go there at this time.
I now have noticed that all the Sat flights in Sep and Oct have gone to 0 availability so I think that the route has been scratched for the time being.

Not sure if the route will be operating next year - our flight to PDX in May has just been cancelled. Looks as though the route has gone.

I got through in 15 minutes earlier today about 4pm. The 1st time I tried it hung up on me but the 2nd time I pressed 4 for other and got through easily enough.

My brother’s flight to IAD for 10Sept and return a fortnight later was cancelled today. He is pleased as he no longer wanted to go now, preferring to delay things until next year. He’ll phone tomorrow for a refund.

Think that they may have binned the route for pax for at least the early part of September at least if not more. Our trip to Phoenix dep 8 September ret 17 Sept. was downgraded from F to J yesterday (aircraft change 777-788) but cancelled completely today by BA holidays with full refund without input from me. Suits us just fine, thanks BA.
