I've got a LGW-PUJ roundtrip on 08SEP to 15SEP, which MMB still seems to insist will operate as advertised...
Never thought I'd say this, but here's hoping it'll be cancelled any day now!

To be honest the rules for getting in to Barbados are changing so quickly and the very unusual meanings of words invented by the Barbados government make me hope that BA do cancel the flight I am booked on. In different places on their websites you see different rules and most recently they have altered the test timing to be 72 hours before arrival not departure. This moves the test time to 8:05pm UK time - or the next morning in reality giving 2 hours before take off to find out the answer with a private lab's delivery of 48 hours. Even an NHS answer in 24 doesn't give time to put the result on the ED card.
Next they altered the "monitoring" concept to be a 7 day quarantine with an exit test required in contrast to the original "those with negative tests can exit the airport and enjoy their holiday". Apparently there have been instances of returning Bajans flying from the USA to Toronto to avoid 14 or more days of quarantine and of course their passports don't flag them up.
I guess we will see today how BA2155 gets on.

I have considered doing a B2B to LGW, and availing ourselves of the local Test on Arrival! However, even that offers potential pit-falls when getting into small print clauses.

I am in Mykonos now, it’s very quiet to what it would normally be. I got tested on arrival at the airport.....I think they were testing all on the BA650. I guess it will become more random as time goes on.

BA's current plan for PHX in September appears to be a 788 some days and a 777 on other days (this has resulted in downgrades being sent out for travel in F on dates with the 788). I'll still be amazed if this route is open for travel in September.

My flight to Portland has gone to 0 availability in all classes so I think that this is now definitely going to be cancelled. Good job too - I really do not want to go there at this time.
I now have noticed that all the Sat flights in Sep and Oct have gone to 0 availability so I think that the route has been scratched for the time being.
