If you're worried about the sensibility of social distancing why are you even contemplating a 90minute b2b on a trip to nowhere?

Even on a B2B, wouldn't you have to quarantine for 14 days on return to LHR?

currently you would have to self-quarantine at home/hotel for 14 days. as noted up thread, it's pretty clear that's very likely to change soon for the Netherlands so I don't think it will be an issue by July.

Shades of flying the RG 777 CDG-AMS back in the early 00's!

Love a bit of melodrama, me! No, I'll be quite happy in an E seat as I have never been in the CW coffin seat before, whereas I have been in F in a 789 so I'm OK.. If there is an aircraft change then I will be somewhere in the CE cabin!

It’s a shame you can’t book a B2B in one ticket, even though the turnaround is 90mins.
You can book a B2B online.. well on the iPhone app. Have been able to for a while.

ZRH has been getting the 787 on a relatively frequent basis over the last few months, but not a passenger service. I wonder if they may continue to use the 787 when the passenger schedules return (EF currently lists 320, however)?

LX have been running the 330 to LHR, LIS and others recently. A friend of mine was on the 330 to LHR yesterday.

A 787 is also being used to operate once a week to LCA during July operating the BA663/BA662 rotation every Thursday

Yeah this is the service I’m keeping an eye on. ZRH and AMS have had the most regular cargo flights this month (in Europe) so maybe they will keep the 788 on into July. Nothing yet though.

It seems LCA will get the 787 on a Thursday in July. Another one to watch if anyone is interested.

ZRH has received the 787 for a very specific niche cargo purpose that is unlikely to be repeated outside of early-Covid madness. Sorry for your loss.

I wonder if the 787 will continue to AMS in August or will there be sufficient A320 flights to take the cargo.
