Impacts of Coronavirus to BA's August schedule

Posting this here as we don't yet have a thread for August - but BA have started cancelling flights in August. My LHR to LAX flight on August 28th has gone.

Snap! I've got flights to SIN, LAX, LAS and BKK zeroed out for August - at this rate I may never fly again!

Presumably because there is no end in sight for the US-Europe travel ban

My 1 August LHR-JFK flight has just been cancelled. I feel torn, as it was Upper Deck on a 747, but ultimately probably better to visit the States at a later date.

I have a CPT booked for 28 August which I have resigned myself to not happening (even though it was a great price in J). I would rather have a refund than a voucher so waiting for a cancellation which I assume is bound to happen sooner or later. I could potentially rebook rather than refund but with SA showing no signs of reopening I think its best just to get the money back.

Cape Town and the rest of SA will surely be some of the last places to open up. I too would be taking the cash and kicking that can well into 2021/2022.
