List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Hey, we don't even get a lounge in Madrid. Don't give Iberia any ideas about restricting lounge access further!

There's a Schengen/non-schengen split at Faro quite soon after security. So the Iberia lounge wouldn't be accessible by BA passengers.

So one assumes BA won’t need to make any changes to their lounge provision. They close at 10pm anyway and it’s table service throughout.

Nothing new on BHD I assume? Flight frequencies seem to be up to 5/day (3 LHR and 2 LCY).

There are 2 CIP lounges at Faro one for Schengen and the other for non-Schengen, Iberia passengers would have access to the Schengen one. Both lounges are closed for the foreseeable.

TXL at the moment. Lounge is closed due to the new airport opening soon according to the check in agent. Never heard that excuse before. I did mentioned that the new airport is “opening” the last 9 years. Lufthansa lounge open. Can anyone confirm this? BA closing/discontinuing lounge access in advance? Once again not surprised with the cost cutting policies...

The lounge at HAM is open, although only until 6pm and with limited service.

While I doubt many people are giving any credence to BA's claim that they are keeping outstation lounges closed for safety reasons, there is at least a kernel of truth to the above

https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/32640937-post111.html

BA should be operating from BER from early November, so seems they have decided they can get away without a lounge at TXL until then. I have no idea what, if any, the lounge offering at BER will be at that time. The linked post has some suggestions on that front.

No No No. It's not Health and Safety. It's the law. A recent response from BA customer relations included the paragraph...

"To comply with government regulations, we needed to close some of our Executive Club lounges. I know this isn't the service you expect to receive and you should've received communication about this via email. I apologise if this wasn't the case."

I just cannot be bothered to ask exactly which regulations they were referring to or why said regulations apply to all of the BA UK lounges except Terminal 5. Or why other lounge operators are getting away with flouting the regulations. Or why other airlines are offering lounges for their UK passengers.

How hard would it be for the head of BA customer relations to have a suitably believable excuse with script as to why lounges are closed so that at least the agents can give a consistent message?
Do they really care that little?

I was in GC South last Friday and heard an announcement at around 17:00 inviting all passengers to move to GF as GC would be closing. Is this a new closing time? Didn’t go down myself as my flight was about to board.

At BHD right now, both lounges are still closed as is everything else bar Starbucks, Smiths and Duty Free. Eerily quiet and quite depressing
