List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

All sounds promising, and we can't wait to get back in the air next week. Just one query re something mentioned here about the overhead bins, where the implication was that only individuals travelling in row 1 and the exit rows where there is no seat in front were able to access the overhead bins? Am I mis-reading this? The BA website indicates that the overhead bins are useable. Could someone confirm, please. Thanks.

Given the situation in a number of countries I think it may be a while before this changes, the number of flights will need to go up with the Eastern Seaboard being particularly important. And it's not just UK restrictions obviously, given that access to USA and Canada remains constrained.
Like forever? Or just until further notice/demand justifies it?

It's only Italy and perhaps Turkey sectors are involved with this.

On routes to Italy, no overhead bins can be used.
Have not seen other restrictions.

Similar for Turkey, overhead bins could be used but no items larger than 4kgs and 40x30x10cm would be allowed into the cabin.
Also, the items that are allowed inside the cabin are limited to handbags, briefcases, umbrellas, cameras, laptop bags. Backpacks are strictly not allowed into the cabin according to Turkish SHGM rules.

Getting this back on track to the topic of the lounges, I'd welcome some images (other than of the CCT and bars already provided) of the modified seating areas in both Galleries First and Galleries Club South.

Not the best. I’m back in on Monday and will get some more if none have appeared over the weekend.

Edit: Just noticed the rear end of a horse...

I can see some of the new chairs in the back. Similar to the ones at the new lounges at other locations

Is LHR T5 First Wing Security open in the afternoons? Flying tomorrow around 2pm tomorrow (Sunday) from the HEX, and wasn’t sure whether to go that way - or just try another security. I’ve usually connected from a UK domestic to international at LHR so have never had the pleasure of the first wing - I don’t know if it is any good or not!

Travelled to Faro today (originally booked to fly from LGW) but flight was moved to LHR.
I will say that the journey from end to end was probably the most pleasant experience ive had in years, from the quiet London street, to the happy London cabbie (sometimes they are grumpy), to the amazing people i interacted with. The lounge was a delight (i normally dont enjoy the T5 south/north zoo, but today it was a pleasant place to be in. The staff we amazing, the table service was on point and the menu (all things considered) was much better than the normal buffet.

70%ish of the shops open - annoyingly the WHSmith under the lounge wasnt, which meant a 10 walk all the way to the other WHSmith for magazines

This is where the magic happens (food is prepped and picked up from)

Ordering for one

simple to use ordering system... the only small fault it always said "delivering" even after it was delivered

Im not a QRcode kind of guy, i just typed in the url...

plenty of empty tables in places (just not by the windows)

Daughters luggage... (chosen by her dad obviously)
