List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Thanks

hi

It certainly was in november ( as well as the plaza premium lounge close by)

Not a bad third party lounge ( they had a diy pancake machine iirc)

Also a small outdoor terrace just outside the lounge ( doubles as a smoking area as a few staff were using it for a smoke)

Regards

Tbs

Yup, it's open! After passport control, you go through duty free, then up the stairs. BA currently use the Celebi Platinum lounge, which is opposite the Plaza Premium lounge. Currently open 5am - 8pm - https://www.bud.hu/en/passengers/sho...latinum_lounge

WELP the SFO BA lounge just failed to open at 1:30 pm PST (indicated on their website) and was telling people off when they try to enter the lounge since they were not flying BA...
I was like what about OWE and the dragon was a bit more relenting but insisted it depends on load

There's similar information here:

Lounge access at SFO

And in a few similar threads mentioned in post 3 of that thread.

Can anyone please advise on the best Lounge for Barcelona (BCN) as I appear eligible for all three in T1.

Are they all open ?

The one after passport control (Aena Joan Miro Lounge) is good and overlooks the terminal and generally quite quiet ime. If leaving BCN late night (around the time of a long haul oneworld flight) the food selection will be good. Presumably the others are located prior to going through passport control so I’ve not been to them. It’s worth noting that the other two lounges in T1 do not allow access if you are travelling with BA regardless of status/cabin. This is the lounge for BA as well as American, Qatar, Cathay etc.

All Barcelona lounges are run by airport operator, AENA. The locations are schengen, non-schengen (ie after passport control) and a smaller lounge next to the gates used by the Iberia Madrid shuttle. There's not a huge amount of differencce and as the poster above recmmends use the lounge appropriate for your destination.

Currently in the Joan Miro which unfortunately is after Passport Control and no access to the wonderful smoking area by Starbucks I was in before

Having said that I've donned a patch and am enjoying the ambience and finger food on offer.

These third party lounges are not a patch on BA ones particularly when it comes to things like the spirit choice - Johnnie Walker Red Label. If I'd paid 40 Euros to get in I'd be a bit disappointed.

Also they seem to have "takeaways" nailed as all the Beer/Soft Drinks require a bottle opener - bottle of Ba's finest aqua is all I'm going to get..

I always carry a bottle opener on my keyring! Best Xmas cracker present I've ever received.

Well I'm going to be sampling more than I anticipated as my flight home is delayed by over an hour !! - Good tip about the bottle opener.

Spending a night in London at BA's expense due to the danger of missing my connecting flight to Edinburgh.

It doesn't look like it. There isn't a lounge RAM use in the north terminal.

They do not have it on their website so you were correct to think that.
However I turned up and they've given me access to No.1 lounge. It's pretty awful.
