List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Wasn’t operating 2 weeks ago which means going landslide, getting the airtrain equivalent and then going back through security.Just adds to the general disappointment of ORD currently as a connection hub.

In Lounge at EDI - good to see it has returned to full self-service for everything !!

One surprise on enquiring about the lack of Cognac was told it "had been discontinued" - First World Problems

Here is the thread in the US Midwest forum about the air-side bus.

ORD T1, T2, T3 to T5 busing being looked at for connecting pax

I would suggest reading the final 3 or 4 posts in the thread. Currently it looks like it will likely restart by July 1. But as always, YMMV.

I can confirm that BA does indeed have a lounge at Lagos airport, that the aircon is blissfully as cold as the beer and that it is an oasis of calm in the airport. Usual oneworld access rules and open at least 5hrs before departure. Hurrah.

Fridges with soft drinks and beer. Vodka, gin, Jack Daniel’s and, oddly, Baileys.

Red and White wine (no idea what).

Good little food menu; salads, wide choice of nice fresh sandwiches, pies, chicken/beef/stew etc with jollof rice, fried rice or spaghetti.

Do you have any more photos of the Lagos lounge? It looks like an interesting one - BA operated, but no clear design concept.

That’s a subjective view that will split opinion. Over the years there have been dishes that are hit or miss, some enjoy them others loathe them. Hopefully once the supply issues fully resolve we’ll see more variation in the menu and the monthly menu change returns.

Qantas (or to be specific their lounge operator in LAX) are advertising for staff for end of June start, so as mentioned in an earlier post, Qantas needed to give the green light for the First lounge to be reopened which was about an 8 week forward timescale, thus I would expect it to be up and running by mid-July if the recruitment of staff is successful.

It was part-Terraces (chairs), part random furniture (sofas) and part an attempt to recreate the Terraces swirly bar, but without it being a bar. It was a swirly table.

Still stunned it exists, perhaps Waterside have forgotten about it.

One thing is for sure - the staff are the rudest I’ve ever encountered in a BA uniform! Really surprising as everyone we’d met in Nigeria before then had been so warm, friendly and welcoming.

Examples…

Grumpiest welcome; not a smile, just a snatched boarding pass and writing on a list.

I went for a shower. There was no shower gel. I asked for some and it was as though I’d asked for a free crate of LPGS.

A friend also asked for a shower. Remember there is little to no aircon in the airport until after security. Was told no because they have given out 4 towels already. Eventually further towels were provided.

Staff literally looked through you when walking around the lounge.

We thought we were being helpful in clearing up empty cans of drink and returning to the food hatch. “Bin” (with pointing).

Another passenger, not with us, asked for a wine glass. Didn’t even get a verbal response, just a point.

It doesn’t sound much, but the overall atmosphere was Fawlty Towers, it was hilarious really.

I was in the Escape lounge at T3 MAN and overheard someone telling his friend that the BA lounge will reopen once BA moves to T2. I don’t know how true that is.

There were suggestions of a oneworld lounge in T2 - which made sense when there would be AA, BA, QR, AY, and CX in that terminal.
