List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Took about 15 minutes for breakfast to arrive, and some of the staff where getting confused about table numbers, however all of the team I dealt with where being very or incredibly helpful in terms of trying to assist, even if they were clearly learning the new ropes.

Incidentally, once you have ordered, you can return to the website and change your location if, for whatever reason you’ve needed (as I did this morning when I realised I was sitting immediately behind a couple who were both furiously typing on their laptops. Not a crime, but also not what one needs at 7am...)

Just a quick description for people leaving tomorrow from T5:

During the entire process described below, a face mask is mandatory This is especially true for TFL, lounge, and flight.

Travel to Heathrow:

Picadilly Line part suspended.
Important: Trains only run every 30 minutes!
Change in Osterley. There is a bus replacement service, you just need to go out of the station make a right go down under the bridge and come up again, Wait at the station for the next bus.
IMPORTANT: Our bus only had space for 11 passengers (because of distance measures). So I would suggest making sure that you are at the start of the cue. There are different buses to T5, T4, etc. Make sure you get the right one. Journey to T5 takes about 20 minutes,.

Terminal

Should you be entitled, First Wing is open but no access to the lounge from there.
(They told me, that Heathrow has not agreed to open the special security check yet.)

Tip: You might be better off checking your luggage at a normal BA check-in point if there is no cue.

Lounge:

Gold lounge open all other lounges closed.

Concorde Room
guests can access a special area in the Gold Lounge (called Terrace). It is on the far left when you enter the Gold Lounge. However, besides from a more intimate setting and a better view, there is no special food or drinks served. They told me, that they might change this in the coming week though. Currently better views and seating, that's all.

Security

No fast track security
, everyone uses the same security.
Shoes need to be taken off (Reason from what I learned, they want to protect their staff during secondary screenings)

Boarding and Flight:

Boarding times as normal
No priority boarding
- Boarding by seat rows, furthest one in the back first
- Welcome gift: Hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipe tissue.
- During flight plastic bag with a bag of crips, a cooky and a bottle of water

Dissemarbarking

by seat row
- Everyone can only stand up when the seat row is called
- starting from the front in areas of 10 (1-10, 10-20, 20-30,) But this might differ by aircraft

Is the experience different for Silvers in the Flounge? My daughter will be with me on Tuesday and I'd hate for her to not have the same experience as me.

Haha, no, unless you need to wind her up and give her the Club menu instead. Same URL but it starts T5F for first and T5S for Club (or is that Silver....). But you will presumably guest her and she gets the First menu.

Quite jealous of that! For the Silvers it’s a bit of a downgrade as with the normal breakfast you can pick and choose.

its a bit of a funny choice as with my Greek yoghurt I was able to pick from a set of toppings.

I wouldn’t mind if we only had the chance to remove the beans and not full control - probably me just being too picky!

In my flight today, neither the boarding not disembarking procedures were followed. It could have been as the flight was no more than a third full!

Can only report what happened on our flight.
This was a LHR-PMI.

I imagine the URL is based on something like:

t5n Galleries Club North
t5s Galleries Club South
t5f Galleries First
t5b Galleries Club B Gates

I am impressed by BA's efforts here. Well done. Based on the current arrangement, I guess I am Galleries Club South on my stopover YYZ-TXL, but Concorde Terrace on my way back (since YYZ-LHR is in F, and LHR-TXL is CE)?

I am very impressed with BA's efforts here. What are the 'rules' for which part of the lounge (or section thereof) that you can use for connecting from F to CE? Please tell me that I get black pudding.

It's the usual lounge rules, so First -> CE on the same day give CCT access, or Flounge if you prefer, complete with black pudding and sundry other vegetables, before midday. If your Club trip in the other direction is on a quiet day you may be allowed into First too, I don't think they will need to open Galleries Club every day.

Helpful post but one (major / minor depending on your preferences) correction, LPGS is served on The CCT. Sat here now and I’m genuinely impressed with BA’s efforts. It shows that a lot of thought and planning has gone in to getting lounge(s) operational. Well done BA.

Writing this from the peasant section of the First lounge.

Overall I think BA did a good job. I will admit to walking in the wrong direction without the training wheels of the First Wing funnelling me into the lounge. The table-service system I cannot fault, it came promptly, with everything that I had ordered. A few minor details, like no pepper with the soup, and no choice of cookie with the coffee, but these are minor details.

The lounge is relatively quiet, and from what I can see the CCT looks good. From the FB picture recently it looked as if they left the glass screen clear, but it is now frosted to avoid any judgemental eyes I assume peering in.

I don't foresee this new style of lounge sticking around, as there are easily 3-4x more staff roaming around, than the usual 1-2 clearing empties.
