List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Now that BA are flying to SYD, is there any word on the SIN lounge re-opening?

The Hamburg lounge is open as per the wiki, but worth noting that it’s closed between 16.00-18.00 on Saturday and Sunday at the moment. Not very helpful for my 17.20 departure today, though they were happy to let me in at 15.50 for a quick bite to eat and drink, but they did ask people to leave shortly after 16.00.

I also believe there is a press event in the lounge on Tuesday to coincide with the first flights of BA Euroflyer.

Personally I am hoping there may be some more announcements about the winter schedule for BA Euroflyer in addition to what has already been released. (which isn't much!)

We will have to wait until tomorrow (28 March) as the first BA15 hasn't departed LHR yet.

Just to confirm this is indeed the case - currently in the Canopy Lounge in Nice T1 (which is rather quiet, as is the entire non-Schengen zone)

Was in the Munich Lounge earlier today - what a wonderful spotlessly clean outlet. Lunch available to help yourself to - had a nice Thai Curry and little dessert.

Also a wonderful little smoking room upstairs !!

Currently in the BA Gold Lounge quite a comedown - once again no crisps available and rammed as was the 1st Class Security.

Why has Terminal Five got no Smoking Lounge - was one not planned at it's inception ?

It is a legal issue, smoking is not permitted in any enclosed public space in the UK. Smoking rooms and similar areas are no longer permitted.

Not seemingly for Manchester, Cardiff, East Midlands , Aberdeen and others where they are extant.

Heathrow could provide a smoking area if they wished to with access to fresh air (the irony ) like some other UK Airports have - it's normally a cage strapped onto a bar or a standalone facility.

I believe even Gatwick has one bar with a smoking terrace !!

AMS lounge

Any word on whether BA plans to reopen the AMS lounge any time soon? With 8-10 (or sometimes more) departures per day now you'd think the activity threshold would be met!
