List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Is there still Leffe in the fridge? Always thought the food in there was good, too.

Per the wiki and oneworld website, there is no lounge available for BA pax: https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location=CDG

Will LHR Terminal 5 arrivals stay open?

Quick question for all the more seasoned FTers out there, since I'm due to arrive at LHR on 13th December:
What do you reckon the chances are of the BA Terminal 5 arrivals lounge staying open now that there is a certain degree of anxiety regarding the new COVID variant?

From tomorrow any use of it wouldn't be compatible with the new rules, so I would imagine it would close now.

Many thanks KARFA.
Such a shame! This would have been the perfect opportunity to use it after a 14.5 hour flight with the family since we'll have a couple of hours to kill whilst waiting for a family member to collect us.

Do you think this impact other lounges at LHR too? Out of interest - which new rules?

I can't see anything else changing. There aren't any rule changes I can think of this week that would cause any changes with the other lounges.

Those arriving in the UK must take a PCR test within 2 days of arrival and must self-isolate until a negative result is received. Passengers should go immediately to the place they intend to self-isolate.

OK so here's a question. I have a complicated trip designed to maximize TPs, flying from the US to GVA, obviously passing through LHR, and I'd imagine there is no impact on that, unless the Swiss decide to do something which could make me decide not to do the trip.

Nested within this trip (on a separate ticket) I'm scheduled to fly GVA-LHR on 12/24, then overnight at a LHR airport hotel, then fly back the next day (Christmas) to GVA. The day following my return to GVA, on 12/26, I then fly GVA-LHR-JFK and onwards.

Will I be able to do the GVA-LHR-GVA portion, whose sole purpose is to get 2 more BA metal flights on my account?

I need to get a Covid test of some sort (not necessarily PCR at this point) in order to return to the USA. I could potentially do that on my day of departure (12/24) GVA-LHR on my "side trip," which would still be valid for re-entry by the time I return to the USA, assuming no change in the rules going forward. I don't know if this would suffice however for the UK. I was considering getting tested in France on the 24th on my way to GVA to fly out on the side trip anyway, but hadn't decided yet.

Any idea?

Speaking from the UK perspective (I can't advice on Swiss restrictions) yes you can do the trip - there is no restrictions based on reasons for travel in the UK.

You should be able to do your GVA-LHR-GVA on one booking without getting a PCR test. Generally UKBF sees test bookings not being required. However, your airline may think you do so at least have the details on a testing company you are happy to book with if needed at check in. You will need a PLF. During your stay here you will need to head directly to your hotel and self isolate, and then directly back to the airport next day.

I assume your GVA-LHR-JFK is same day airside connection at LHR? Definitely no test booking needed. You don't need a PLF as well, but I don't think this seems to have been widely publicised yet so it maybe your airline still thinks you do so either do it anyway or at least be prepared to do it at check in.

Just to confirm, if you now look at the website for ordering food & drinks for the arrivals lounge you now see a message saying it is closed.
