List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

hi

Pre covid the qantas lounge was pretty good with a gin bar and a batista upstairs that made coffee.

Of course in the current climate I do not know what will be offered but it will probably be worthwhile to visit at least for a short while to see how it is and compare with ba

Thanks again TBS!
Will definitely visit if open and report back (not flying until mid Jan). Due to an early departure, probably wont be trying the gin bar, but the barista sounds good for a dawn pick-me-up.

pre-covid the Qantas lounge was better than BA. The best was Cathay though - looking forward to that reopening!

Thanks for that information. Luckily not that early, we need to be checking in at around 07:15.

Can someone confirm Milan Malpensa Montale Non-Schengen Lounge is open? Is that T1 for BA flights?

Nairobi TAV lounge

Update from Nairobi. TAV lounge is currently in a temporary location and a sorry affair. Small, overcrowded, no self service and one chap doing catering for the whole lounge. Poor selection of food (soggy sandwiches and chicken nuggets). The amenities listed on the oneworld lounge database are not correct, no buffet, no pre-flight dining, no rest areas and no showers. I had hoped for these and was rather disappointed by the experience.
Update: currently no drinks as they've run out of clean glasses

I last used the Shongololo Lounge in Mar 2020 just before the lockdown, flying up to Gaborone and back. I agree it is revolting. I flew out of JNB on a Qatar repatriation flight in May 2020 and haven't been back since. What's the situation like "on the ground" so to speak airside? Is it still pretty empty? I see BA is flying twice a day now using B777 and they're bringing the A380 back into service on the JNB route early next year. This tells me that demand must be picking up considerably. Also Qantas is supposed to be resuming its JNB routing next month as well. So I'm just wondering why the BA lounges aren't open yet? Presumably it's nothing to do with demand and everything to do with government edict? The SLOW Lounge is excellent but if you don't have an RMB/FNB card or something like that it can be a bit tricky to get in. I used to use it a lot when travelling to Zambia and Namibia for example.

So if my wife who is a silver holder has booked the LM flights from GLA to SOU on a BA boarding pass, she won’t get to use the GLA Lounge?

thanks

correct, no lounge access in that case I am afraid whether booked on the LM number or under the ba codeshare.

The BA lounge at CPT has reopened.

Six BA lounges remain temporarily closed for now: AMS, DXB, JNB, LGW, PHL, SIN - alternatives are available at all airports.

The Shongolo lounge was just as abysmal in October and now tourism is picking up, extremely overcrowded and filthy. See post #3597 for my other comments.
