List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

A BA check-in agent at San Francisco International Airport said they had been told that the BA SFO lounge would open at the end of this month! (September.) However, she also added that she would believe it when she saw it.

Nothing with fizz has been available for a while in GC for a while. English fizz better than none and is probably nicer than many Champagnes.

Was in GC S for around 45 mins yesterday. My god was it teeming, somewhat unrelaxing with many poor unfortunates patrolling for seats and the clearing away was hopelessly under resourced.

The one plus was the English sparkling which was absolutely lovely and massively better than the CE champagne.

Overall, it had the allure of a Costa Coffee. I remember going in there when it first opened and it seemed so quietly plush.

In Galleries first right now.

table service is dire, it’s so slow and food has take over 30 minutes and drinks 20 minutes, yet it’s dead! Portion sizes are tiny but on the up side the Cambodian curry and tortillas are both delicious. The curry especially so.
Why, when I was in a theatre on Wednesday with 2500 un masked others, are the lounges, airports and flights still requiring masks?

Thank God BA customers now have access to a Lounge in Dublin - flight to LHR delayed by 2 hours this morning.

It's tiny with a limited range but at least you can help yourself to everything ( except alcohol) unlike at Heathrow or Edinburgh.

Just enjoying a double Jameson's at 6.45am - well it is Saturday.

American Pancakes in GF Sat 11 Sep

Hi,

After having breakfast in the HGI , I had about an hour in GF prior to boarding my flight to Berlin so decided to try the pancakes in case the CE breakfast was not filling ( croissant, plain yoghurt and a small fruit bowl - I miss the Full english ) plus likely not getting to the hotel prior to 2pm

American pancakes with maple syrup, apple juice and Bucks Fizz

Pancakes were a little small but fresh and tasty .

Regards

For us less well informed, what is Bucks Fizz? Is it straight up bubbles of sorts, or something akin to a mimosa?

Either way, definitely it is an integral part of a well balanced breakfast!

It is a stronger version of the mimosa - two parts champagne, one part orange juice.

Definitely need to try to make one of those. Of wait, I already do, with the mistaken label of a mimosa. I probably actually make Bucks Fizzz (3 to 1), most of the time.

Because the plane requires a mask. Think of the lounge as a continuation of the flying experience.

I for one, as a regular traveller, am pleased with this requirement especially in an airport environment where we find ourselves mixing with peoples from all over the world, including peoples from countries where this dreaded virus is still causing havoc and where vaccinations may not be as freely available as they are in the UK.

Better safe than sorry, as my dear departed mother often used to say.

I was at IAD on opening night (Thursday) and it appeared that the room on the first side was open, but I was in Club World and so did not go in. In any event, on the CW side, you find a space and order by QR code from a very limited menu of things (four main courses of which hamburger and veggie burger were two) and they did not seem to have all the beers indicated. But it was nice to eat something before the late flight.
