List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Any insights into what will likely happen to the LHR BA lounge service during lockdown 3?

Until the SI is updated, it's hard to say but the exemption that currently exists may well stay in place.

I have a feeling there will not be enough flights to justify having them open.

I passed through T5 at 1:30pm today. Galleries First was the only lounge open, I think the terrace as well?

Service in the lounge was as per August and November which is when I last flew. Ordering through QR codes and your mobile, at seat service. Usual stuff.

Hello hello! How are you keeping up-to-date on JFK lounges? I read much earlier in the thread a few suggestions that they will never reopen in prep for the T8 move. Any further detail on that? I am current state-side and working on CCR for this year, feels like maybe I won't get any JFK CCR usage until 2022 if that's the case(and that's assuming it isn't delayed)!

Not sure how long this will last but I can confirm GF and the CCT are open and still serving as of this evening. Last place you can get a drink brought to your table by someone you don't live with in England?

I'd like to work wherever the canteen is if LPGS is brought to my table. I'd even wear high-vis if necessary.

Sorry if it's been asked before, but what are the plans for the BA lounges at JFK? Got my first 'First' flight JFK to LHR in November and I'm desperately hoping they'll be open by then...

The lounges are closed in JFK in T7.

November - I presume 2021? Well that would be pushing the old crystal ball from UMA, HMA and well beyond EMS. Perhaps check here in October? It really is anyone's guess.

You can use the AA Lounge in Terminal 8. But it would require leaving T8, taking the airtrain to T7 and passing security again.

Is BA check in recommending the AA lounge to First passengers (they must be giving them an alternative?).

What is the transfer like between T7 and T8?

No they are not specifically recommending this, you need to clear security twice, and take a train landside between T8 and T7. So check-in at T7, train to T8, clear security T8, lounge, exit T8 (the only easy bit to this), train to T7, security T7, round to gate. And currently the T8 lounge provision is pretty basic. In November? Who can say.

Unfortunately, the only oneworld lounge open at JFK is the AA Admirals Club at T8 so there is no other alternative. If you have AMEX Platinum you could use the Centurion Lounge at Terminal 4 or if you hold PriorityPass you could visit the Air France Lounge in Terminal 1.

To go to the AA Lounge;

You need to take the AirTrain from Terminal 7 to Terminal 8 after checking-in at Terminal 8.
You need to clear security at Terminal 8, and head to the AA Lounge.
After enjoying the lounge, you need to go landside, take the AirTrain back to Terminal 7.
Clear security for the second time at Terminal 7 and board your BA flight.

Wow, this seems remarkable on BA's flagship route. I'm really surprised they've not put in better provision for premium passengers. What about those wanting the sleeper service?
