List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

If flying in BA CE EDI-LHR, would I be able to use the lounge before continuing to BOS on VS? (I do realize the changes in T5 to T2 eventually).

no because you will be dumped into the entry hall so will need to exit and re-enter the terminal...and since you are continuing on on VS, that would mean a change to T2 and no lounge access at LHR unfortunately!

No. You cannot access airside in T5 with a T2 boarding pass. You would either have to go landside or follow flight connections to T2 airside. Either way no T5 access. There are no oneworld lounges in T2.

Edit: Beaten to it by 30 secs.

the CCR isn’t open. It was only briefly open for a few days but that was limited to 17-20 December. CCT is open currently.

In that case I don’t see any reasonable benefit to upgrade to Club Europe on such a short haul sector.

Thank you both kindly.

Are BA sticking with the lounge schedule previously published for the Christmas / NY period? There seems next to no flights so it appears a lot of excess capacity for much of the day (which I'm fine with as lots of space). Does any one know if they're consolidating back into GF?

Thanks.

It’s being managed dynamically. The planned hours are as described on the oneworld lounge page, but in practice they are taking the planned passenger load each day and consolidating as (and when) required. Very sensible, given the number of customers changing days, flights, etc.

Thanks for all of your photos of the slightly refreshed CCR, chris87.

I'll miss the Julian Opie artwork - those pieces used to grace the main wood-panelled corridor in the T4 CCR before being relocated in 2008 to the washroom corridor in the T5 CCR.

The replacement artwork in the washroom corridor used to be in the Galleries Club lounge in T3, on the wall at the far end of the lounge behind the Silver Bar.

Has anyone of you recently done the JFK T8 AA Lounge visit while being on a BA Ticket out of T7?
is it worth the hassle?

If it’s anything like LAX, it’s the only crowded place in the terminal with minimal service.
