List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

And heaven forbid that BA could actually employ a few more staff to enable its premium customers to use the lounges.

Apart perhaps from the fact it's probably illegal so to do?

Other countries have done it.
Maybe a special derogation, as there are for many of the imposed restrictions.

There are, by my count, 7 lounges open in the whole of Europe right now, which is one fewer than the total number of lounges in T5 alone. So in a Europoean context LHR isn't exactly unusual. However as you know the relevant SI is down for repeal and the drafted primary legislation allows for lounges. As indicated upthread, it's not for much longer.

I agree - however some other carriers are still looking after premium passengers, even with small gestures....
  • Alitalia is offering vouchers to premium customers to be spent at airport bars or shops selling food/drinks (FCO and JFK only).
  • Lufty has reopened the Senator and Business Class lounges at FRA and MUC on the 2nd and 22nd June respectively.

What is BA doing? Not even manning a couple of priority check in desks.....shame - always behind.

On one particular day last week, I was the one and only passenger departing LHR with status higher than Bronze The number therein afflicted isn't massive. And things will change for the better before too long.

How exciting! Is the premium or concorde team around to greet you from moment you step in the terminal

You should get your facts right before commenting.....there have always been priority desks available and this continues to be offered each morning when most flights depart at present. Until a few weeks ago, there were 2-3 desks at the end of zone G in T5 and then they moved over and opened a few desks in zone H each morning until around 1030.

Once the short hauls depart and customer numbers reduce to point there is little to no wait time, then the desks are consolidated. This used to be all on zone H, but from what I have seen recently, zone G is now in use in the afternoons, largely down to the few flights that need temperature checks.

I know the chances are that this is simply an IT glitch however this trip has been rebooked 3 times and ever since the 1st rebook lounges have shown as this. Both in J and we're only Silvers. Unless BA are considering putting Silver upwards traveling in J into the CCR to spread out the customers( pure off the cuff thinking for any rational IF it's not an IT glitch which I think it probably is). All the same it's interesting that the lounge has remained as showing CCR throughout the re books, which have also had new booking refs so are totally clean bookings in at least case and the OB has changed from LHR-MSY to LHR-ORD. I don't expect it to hold but certainly wouldn't complain if I enquired on the day and they said to go right in

LHR-ORD
JFK-LHR

So the LHR/JFK First lounges will be opened first. This will be followed at a later date by the Galleries club lounges. There will be reduced food and beverage offering and signs everywhere to maintain distance and wear a mask. Globally lounges will open at key locations.

The above blurb is from BA in some internal documentation. No mention of any dates though. Though it does say in line with UK government guidance we can gradually reopen our lounges. This of course can make one speculate itll be the 4th of July. Especially with UK quarantine looking to be abolished come 6th July.

I hope that the reduction in the offering wont be too extreme (food and drink wise). I understand the safety aspect but there are workarounds.
