yeah the boxes just look increasingly sad in F the longer they remain.

sure there was an initial rationale but now it just looks pathetic.

Thanks for the dreary preview of Saturday's LHR-LAX flight.
Is the table cloth new? Not sure early pics including that.

No, table cloths, serviettes and drinks coasters should all be provided as per normal (non-COVID) service.

Cold starters

Did you get any dessert with your main meal? They suppose to serve 3 small cups with different desserts.

Unnecessary touch points / interaction there... Don’t worry about a table cloth under my cardboard box - give me glassware!

We had a tray of packets of crisps on the MAN-LHR flight this evening in CE, in addition to the chicken & coleslaw sandwich which one is getting rather bored of, not sure if this is a change or just a proactive crew though.

It has been reported before that some customers in CE do get that. It sounds like a new dawn in customer services!

I hope BA still follows goverment guidance and their health experts advice. Fingers crossed, the packets of crisps did not put yourself or anyone else at risk...

I think BA will have to change the long haul offering soon. The market guides them, and it’s clear most other airlines are starting to increase their offering, putting BA at a disadvantage.

As for CE, I don’t see any major changes coming. A lot of airlines in Europe are offering something similar. Just maybe change those fillings!

BA probably figuring that most people won't want to connect or complicate their journey in this day and age so can get away with the pi*s poor service. I have a F flight end of Nov (if it runs) and will surely be looking to take my own food which is a sorry state of affairs.

I had the joy of the chicken and coleslaw sandwich yesterday, I'm not sure there was a single piece of chicken in it. Complaint duly logged with BA, which I'm sure will just result in a generic response, but I hope every passenger who is not happy with the on-board offering is doing the same.
