May and June card expiry extensions won't happen until the end of June/July.

Where status has not been retained, the extension (of the downgraded status) will show at the end of the current card expiry (30 June for 8 May membership year ends, and 31 July for 8 June membership year ends).

Qualify for silver?
I wonder if I qualify for Silver status with these lower requirements or not. It's my first year as a BAEC member (coming from United/Star Alliance) and this program is confusing 😄
My tier point collection year ends Jan 8th, 2021 and I'm currently at 510 Tier points. What's confusing me is that it only says "2 of 4 flights completed" when I also have "9 of 50 eligible flights completed". Does it only count flights after my bronze status was achieved? If so, is it going by the transaction date or the posted date?
Here are my flights in this qualification year (note it started in Dec 2019 since it's my first year):
Flights Tier points Transaction Posted
BA991 40 Dec 9 Dec 11
BA8493 40 Dec 13 Dec 15
BA985 40 Jan 23 Jan 25
BA11 100 Jan 23 Jan 25
BA34 160 Feb 10 Feb 12
BA990 40 Feb 11 Feb 13
BA985 40 Feb 19 Feb 21
BA8495 40 Feb 20 Feb 22
BA7908 40 Feb 10 Feb 25
Looking at this, I qualified on Feb 12th after BA34 posted. Since then 4 other flights have posted but only 2 were flown after this day. Though 3 were flown after BA34.
I'm so confused. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me understand this.

My Tier Points collection year ends on 8 Jan 2021 and I have requalified, so my card was supposed to expire in 28 Feb 2022. I thought I would not benefit from the status extension, but when I checked today, the card expiry date was updated to 28 Feb 2023.

Yes, you should. You can get silver with 600 TPs and 4 eligible flights OR 50 eligible flights. There is an app glitch where it says you still need qualifying flights between tiers, even though you already have them. However, under the 25% reduced thresholds you would be OK even without other 2 flights for silver. Potential upgraders are all waiting for tomorrow when apparently they will be processed.

Well spotted - thanks. You're right, it was only for extensions that the flights were waived for the 25 percenters.

You can get silver with 600 TPs and 4 eligible flights OR 50 eligible flights. They are cumulative (within the same collection year), so you don't need another 4 flights on top of the bronze flights. There is an app glitch where it says you still need qualifying flights when moving up the tiers, even though you already have them.

I guess this leads me to my next question - how come I’m not yet Silver. Looks like I’ll be calling them up sometime this week.

Further extension?
Current Silver on 1140 TPs with year end Oct 2020. Card expiry was extended last week to Nov 2021.
Based on what I am reading, I expect to be upgraded to Gold today based on the 25% TP threshold reduction? Should I also expect the card expiry to now extend to Nov 2022?
Thank you!
