Mine has. My expiry date is now 2023, having previously been 2022 (having 'qualified' until then through an upgrade). Thanks BA!
It seems the wiki here is wrong - Raffles' Q&A on headforpoints was correct on this one

Yes, and as expected, my July membership has "extended" to Aug 2021 which of course is no extension at all.

Checked.
Tier Point collection year ends 8 December 2020 - remains unchanged as expected
Prior to lockdown I had already earned over 3k so I had already re-qualified for GGL without any reliance on reduced thresholds, so I was always going to retain status for my 9 December 2020 to 8 December 2021 membership year and would have eventually had a new card issued with an expiry date of 31 January 2022.
Card expiry on ba.com before today was previously showing 31 January 2021
Card expiry now shows as 31 January 2022
As expected based on the FT consensus and post 796 on how this works, as I re-qualified anyway I effectively don’t get an extra year.

I checked 10 minutes ago and had no extension yet, just checked again and it is showing.
My year ends in August, made silver this year (first time I have made status). Was showing 2021 expiry and now showing 2022. It seems that you get the extension even if you qualified this year.

Are you saying your July membership showed an expiry of Aug 2020 a few days ago and now shows an extension to Aug 2021 or had you already re-qualified for you level prior?

I've just checked and my card expiry date is now 30 Apr 2022 (GGL / CCR renewed in March 2020). So exactly as expected.
Will BA be sending new CCR cards to those of us who are eligible in due course? I expect these will go out when the current ones expire?

The expiry date of the card doesn't normally change before the TP collection end date so it was showing Aug 2020 yesterday - whether requalified or not, it wouldn't have changed before unless I had gone up a tier (which is quite hard to do!) As it happens I hadn't officially requalified (I would have done under the 30% April-June rule and had had enough TPs cancelled to have requalified naturally so could have pleaded my case) but either way I don't believe there would have been anything beyond Aug 2021 whether I had earned 0 TPs or 10,000 TPs this year.

So it seems that it is a 12 month extension on the expiry date on your current card as shown up to today.
This benefits those who have qualified and upgraded in their current year: the card naturally is valid until the end of the tier point year after qualification. They will therefore get an additional 12 months.
This does not benefit those who have re-qualified in their current year: the card expiry is not extended until the end of their current TP year, so this will merely duplicate what the extension will do anyway (it is possible BA IT will do something to correct this anomaly, but currently I have heard no plans)
