So this would mean:

Bronze: 225 Tier Points or 18 eligible flights
Silver: 450 Tier Points or 37 eligible flights
Gold: 1125 Tier Points
GGL (renewal): 2625
GGL (first time): 3750
CCR card: 3750
Isn't GGL renewal normally 3,000TPs? so GGL renewal would be 2,250TPs.
I got the email with the 25% reduction wording for my GGL renewal, but if it's 3,750 to get CCR card, I might try for that next year.

Thanks in advance!
no, 225 is enough

I'm reading this that all year ends will benefit from the extension. For the April, may and June's, they have had the 30% reduction plus a year.

Really frustrated. My silver membership expired end of May, all my usual BA qualifying flights are in Q1 of each year due to work cycles (obviously not this year). So now I am bronze for 2 years....
Thanks but no thanks BA, looks like I will not be flying BA again.

Does the 25% Tier Point reduction apply to earning vouchers or other membership benefits? We’ve decreased the amount of Tier Points needed by 25% to make it easier for members to retain or upgrade their membership. This reduced Tier Point requirement doesn’t apply to earning Gold Upgrade Vouchers or other membership benefits.
i assume it applies to CCR only because the previous 30% reduction for April/May/June applied to CCR card

I'm a bit confused. I renew in October 2020, and had already reached the requirements for Gold (so I should have had Gold until 2021). Does this mean the extension is pointless for me, or that I now have it until October 2022?

On my account, it still says my card expires in October 2020 and "You have retained Gold". Has anyone had an answer direct from BA on this?

So I currently have qualified for Gold with a card expiry of April 2022, will I really get a status extension to April 2023? Extraordinarily generous if so. Not that I'm complaining...

Email in inbox here also and I'm a Feb renewal so that's a big plus from BA, at a time when I had given up on them.....

Trying to understand.

I requalified the hard way earning my 1500TPs. My collection end date is now May 2021.

I understand that my Gold status will be extended till May 2022.
What about the flights that I take this July? Will they be "useless" for qualification? Will they count for qualification in 2022?

I suspect, like me, that you will get no real benefit from this announcement, unfortunately.
