I had 1050 tier points as of 21st December. Decided that as i was so close to gold (due to reduction) to book a tier point run last minute.

Flew LHR-MAN-LHR in club 30th Dec. Yielded 80 Tier pints. They were posted 2nd Jan and immediately showed my upgraded status to gold - 1130 total.

Membership year ends Jun 2024 and now states that I need 370 points to retain Gold.

Does that mean i just need 370 points before this years membership year end (May) to keep gold into 2025??

No. You have qualified as Gold for the remainder of this membership year plus the next. As you enter the next membership year in June 2023 the requirement will reset to 1500. (Or whatever level BA revises that to)

I always have ordered a macchiato; perhaps that's why I don't see any latte art?

Of course, I just leave this here for those who think BAs' IT is reliable...

Yeah, I can't even pull up bookings in MMB - just says to try again later when it might be a little less busy. Bravo......!

I don't think anyone ever suggested that BA IT is reliable (and if you meant me, you can check my comment on the thread on the 1 January IT bug), but do you seriously think a screenshot will resolve those members' problem?

Status extensions happening!

Well my GGL card expiry date just moved to Sep 2024 so it looks like the reduced threshold calculations are happening...

Mine has not been updated yet, so rather than freak out, I'll assume that this is an ongoing process, which will take a few days (unless noone else still has the old dates at that stage?) I have updated the Wiki to suggest that the process now seems ongoing and we will update in a few days when it seems complete, but please feel free to keep mentioning your (positive or negative) experience!

As an update I had over 1125 tier points by 31 December but the BA app and website both say I still need to get to 1500 by Feb to retain Gold. I guess I'll have to call up and have this looked at.

Edit - sorry have just seen previous posts. Will be patient!

Likewise, I'm assuming it will be a process, and patience will be a virtue, so I'm not threatening never to fly BA again yet
Mine is pretty clear cut, GGL currently, close to 2,500 TPS earned before 31 December 2022, with an 8 July 2023 membership year end and card still showing 31 August 2023 expiry in the app and on ba.com
Will update when it changes.
