Yup, still 2022 for me.

I guess I'll be adding it to my (open) complaint.

It's supposed to be already done, so you'd probably be best to contact BA through whatever method you think would be easiest.

Good luck!

I tried that for over 2 hours on chat and that lead
to nowhere. Then tried to use ftv to pay for taxes on avios booking and the system would not let me. So that will be added to my complaint. Have 3k of FTV and cant use 1200 of it to pay for taxes on an Avios booking.

You can only use FTVs for the same kind of booking, so cash if buying a cash ticket, or redemption if buying a redemption ticket. If they're FTVs and not evouchers (which would be normal for a redemption booking) then you'd have to phone in to use them, it can't be done online. With the call centre being what it is right now, it's tricky, but dem's da rules.

Given my recent experience contacting BA for anything... I think I'll wait.

Who knows, by May maybe they'll have employed one or two more people (yeah, I know, unlikely).

My app says that my collection year ends on the 8th Feb 2022, is this correct or has it been extended? From reading all the material I am not quite sure.

Ditto - yet my email from BA said "we'll automatically apply this to your account by the first week of January"

Why set themselves a timeframe and then miss it .. by a fair amount ?!

Does it say the same on the website? It should be extended until 2023.

I was just about to suggest this. I noticed the other day that the app didn't update when I made a nectar to Avios conversion no matter how many times I refreshed it, but the updated amount did show on the website. This may be an app issue why the new date isn't showing.

The collection year will still show 2022 as the points will reset on 9th February but your card expiry (I.e. how long your status will last) should say March 2023 if it has been extended.

Both website and app remain 2022 - not updated to 2023
