I am a June end and at the moment have a target of 1125 TPS to retain Gold . I can well see why BA rolls these out in small blocks . Hilton has just announced another full year extension and there are quite a number of people saying they won’t now have to do bed runs and so are not booking or are cancelling stays . BA, by giving short notice in blocks is probably keeping us booking a bit more.

3) Regardless of when your TP year ends, you can avail of the lower targets up to 30 June 2022, but if you have not obtained/retained a tier by then then it's back to full requirements. If they do plan to take this approach, I can see why they wouldn't be shouting it from the rooftops....
.
So as a caution to those with a collection year ending 8 July 2022, you will continue to see the reduced thresholds in your Exec Club profile until 30 June 2022 but on 1 July 2022, they will jump back to the standard rates, so plan accordingly.

Agreed, that is very frustrating.

Head For Points (Raffles) notes that based on the email they got from BA their reading is consistent with 3) above.

Judging by the email I've just had, the CCR benefit looks permanent for all GGL members.
Cards will no longer be issued etc.
But, no additional benefit for those who're already CCR it seems.

extension for another year to 2023.
Another year of Gold, on us
As always, we’re by your side too. That’s why we’re extending Tier status by another 12 months for those Executive Club Members with a Tier Point collection end date between 1 January 2022 and 31 March 2022. This means that any Member renewing over this period will enjoy their status for another year, irrespective of how many Tier Points they earn. So, you’ll have more chance to enjoy the benefits you deserve, whenever you return to the skies.

The email has landed.
For GGL CCR, here is the actual text:

Access to the Concorde Room, for you and a guest
Speaking of benefits, we’ve also made an exciting improvement to your membership. When flying from London Heathrow or New York JFK, your Gold Guest List status will automatically grant you access to the Concorde Room – our most exclusive lounge. This means that you’ll no longer need to earn 5,000 Tier Points to qualify for access and we’ll no longer issue Concorde Room Cards to Members. Your Gold Guest List status is the only key you’ll need.

The lingo over on ba.com which is linked on the extension notification email is much clearer, i'd say.

Dumb question but where do I find the points needed to get to the next level? My Silver has been renewed but I may be able to take advantage of the reduced thresholds for Gold before June 2022 but I can’t seem to find what that magic number is

I thought when you gain status in your collection year, you get it for that year, plus the next year. That's the standard EC membership.
I'm an October 21 renewal, I gained silver this collection year and my card says expires November 2022. That's the standard EC membership terms isn't it? I take it I've missed out on any extension as I obtained silver during the reduced total?
