As a September Silver, am I right in thinking that it will be the full 600TPs needed for further requalification once I reset on the 8th?

No complaints if so given I'm making it on 300 this time round... just checking there's no option for 450 if I get there by year end?

If you reach 300 tier points by Sept 8th 2022, you will requalify at Silver through to October 2023.

On Sept 9th 2022, your tier points will reset to zero

From Sept 9th 2022, having reset to zero - if you then reach 450 tier points by Dec 31st 2022, you will requalify for Silver through to October 2024.

If you can't get the 450 tier points by Dec 31st 2022, you will need the full 600 points - assuming BA don't extend the reduced tier point dates.

I have the 8 May earning year, but it shows me needing 600 to earn Silver this year (I'm at 580 right now, so 20TPs left). Should it not be showing the reduced TP and say that I have met the required?

What you are seeing is correct

This way they will not have loads of people complain in january when the target jumps from 450 to 600

It is documented in the FAQ where it states

"Please note, Members with a Tier Point Collection Year end date in 2023 will see the normal Tier Point threshold in the My Account area on ba.com and the British Airways app from the start of their Tier Point collection year."

People whose TP collection year expires in 2023 will have the original target in their app, but benefit from reduced thresholds until 31st Dec nonetheless. It's to avoid bad surprises on 1st Jan.

You are a May 8 TP year-end. Do you really have 1005 TPs currently or did that TP balance reset to 0 on May 9, 2022 just ten days ago?

If you earn 1125 or 3750 TPs between May 9, 2022 and December 31, 2022 you will earn Gold / GGL. If you do not meet those levels by December 31st you will have until May 8th of 2023 to earn Gold or GGL by reaching 1500 / 5000 TPs.
Thanks for your response. It shows an expiration date of June 30, 2024. I now have 1055 TPs currently and the TP balance did not reset to 0 on May 9, 2022. Maybe because I joined BAEC in June 2021? Here is a screenshot:

25% lower TP for GGL too?

Hi all,

does the 25% lower tier point threshold apply for me in the scenario below:

- current Gold Guest List
- Jan 2023 renewal
- would usually need 3000 TPs to renew

If I earn 2250 by End of Dec would this renew for another year?

I guess the question is does this apply for GGL too or is it just bronze, silver and gold?

Afternoon all, quick question following the April 2022 update. It applies for those with Tier point collection end dates July to September 2022. If you are a June 2022 tier point end date (me) are you just out of luck and no further extension?
