The future of LHR/DUR flights

I have just looked back ten pages to try and find a thread that mentioned the possibility of BA dropping this service, but couldn’t find it.
If this were to happen (I have a one-way Avios DUR/LHR in J booked for next March) would BA offer me a return via JNB or CPT in the same class, bearing in mind that their seat allocations for Avios may already have been snapped up?
Many thanks.

Yes they would. (avios availability wouldn’t matter).

In future I'd recommend doing a Google search (other search engines are available) which is likely to be a lot more efficient and productive for you that scanning prior pages. Something like this on Google should do it:

"british airways dur site:www.flyertalk.com"

Assuming there’s an airline in ZA that hasn’t gone bust by then.
