SunAir (BA)
Not sure if this is the right thread, I spoke to SunAir yesterday as was hoping MAN/BLL would possibly be available back end of August. They told me that, as things stand, they don't expect to operate any scheduled flights until October at the earliest.

NHS Health Record
The official NHS (England) record of vaccination does not display what vaccine was used. Anyone who has had the vaccine and has the NHS App (not the COVID app) can access this information via their GP Health Record (even if the vaccination was not done at your GP practice) .

Were you given the Pfizer patient information leaflet? That's an A3 folded in two to give 4 sides of A4, with wide white margins. The AZ patient information sheet is a single A4 sheet of paper, double sided and the page fairly densely covered in text. In January most jabs were Pfizer. I would ring up your GP surgery and discuss it with reception - it's not a trivial error. I did come across one case of this on Friday when I was based in a care home and the patient, her daughter, her card and her informaiton leaflet all said Pfizer but the computer said AZ. So it could affect second appointments (have you had that yet?) and things like any arrangement for autumn booster shots.

Thanks CWS and Robert279 for the replies. Have phoned the GPs and awaiting their reply. Neither my OH or myself (on separate days) were given either of the patient info leaflets you mentioned, only an NHS generic "what to expect" 8 page document. Luckily I have the original vacination card with Pfizer and batch number and have not had the second appointment yet. Also probably needed sorted out if/when vaccination passports are introduced.

Speculation and wishful thinking! FI (Icelandair) is restarting a seasonal service from PDX to KEF this summer as well as 9 other N American routes; with that, thoughts on BA thinking about PDX again particularly with Alaskan Airlines as One World and no other (currently) TATL direct to Europe. Wishful thinking, but perhaps shared service with SEA?

The reason behind Icelandair starting PDX and other US cities is most likely because of Iceland accepting vaccinated travelers from the USA without any quarantine, thus the high demand.
Also for AS connections the x4 weekly BA + x3 weekly AA service to SEA from LHR should be enough for the meanwhile.

Interesting, had a feeling they would do so eventually. At least we now know where the 3 LGW based 4 class 777s are going now.
