Plus Ca Change... British Airways Internet Archeology
Prompted by the scans from the past thread, I went off to google groups and had a look at how we discussed BA in early Internet days.
Two main groups of interest for the UK (chances are there are similar ones with generalist content) are uk.transport.air and alt.travel.air.uk
For the first, here is a very familiar style of thread from 1997 on the virtues or lack thereof of BAEC status.
And this seems to be the earliest thread on BA from alt.travel.air.uk, relating to slots at LHR
Well worth a little time spent browsing. Very nostalgic.
