flights on QR metal but BA flightnumber
 

I have flights booked for 2020 summer holiday, which I anticipate will be cancelled at some point.
Now I would be happy to take a BA voucher, but next year I would like to go to Asia (probably DPS), on QR metal. Since the voucher can only be used to book BA flight numbers (if I understood correctly), I am looking for a possibility to book QR metal fligts using the BA voucher. I am based in AMS.

I’d wait for the flights to be cancelled and get actual cash. I know you can have a mix of QR and BA on a 125 ticket, not sure if you can have QR only

If you have a BA segment on the booking things the BA coded QR metal flights should become available (e.g. AMS-LHR-DOH-DPS-DOH-AMS, with only the first segment operated by BA). You'll likely not get the cheapest QR deals on that booking though, so taking a cash refund may indeed be a better approach.
