British Airways 1970s flexi-single

Hello,

I'm searching a link, or a photo, ..., of a seventies flexi single. I'm talking about a white, one-sided commercial edition from British Airways. The song was based on 'England swings like a pendulum do'.
I am not reaching to buy or sell one, just looking for some good memory.
Thank you.

Kind regards

It doesn't sound like the one you're looking for but I used to have this flexidisc which was released in the 1970's. I got my copy in 1979 when I joined the Junior Jet Club.

Normally I'd link to Discogs but that site is dodgy at the moment as my McAfee keeps warning me about dodgy links on it so here's the link on 45Cat - 45cat - [no artist listed] - Fly The Flag - British Airways - UK - 564

*edit*
I've found another listed - I don't know if it's what you're looking for - 45cat - British Airways - Superflight - Procaudio Ltd - UK - PC096

Thank you, Schind, but indeed: it is not this one
On 45cat it is not published, as I contacted them yesterday.
Nor Discogs has it on their website.

Difficult one to find.

Kind regards

Hmm. I used to be a record dealer and if it's not on either of those sites it is rare. I have a friend who collects records like this (in fact he was the one who uploaded the 'Superflight' flexi to 45Cat). If he hasn't got it then it's as rare as hen's teeth. Between us we've trawled every car boot sale, charity shop and record shop in the South East of England (and beyond) looking for stuff like this!

Yes, still it was there. A schoolmate confirmed me lately, as we were listening so many times at it when we were about 10 years old (mid seventies)
There was also the loud sound of a plane landing.

As mentioned the song was based on 'England swings ...'. Well, I think remembering the girl changed this in singing 'London swings ...'

Hard to find, apparently

Found this from 1977, 3 track flexi disc promoting BA from the New Seekers, not sure if it's what you're after though.

Thanks Beergut, but is also not the one.
I think there was a picture of an airhostess on the frontcover. Not of a real person, but painted.
Is ask my old schoolmate what he remembers of that cover.

Have a good evening

Tom

so I asked the old schoolmate about what he remembered of the cover:
- white background
- logo of British Airways
- drawning of Big Ben (must be right, because it was a promotional for London)
- drawning of one hostess

This is great... Players just opening and closing their mouths at random intervals as they don't know any of the words. Gary Bailey looks like he'd prefer to be licking door handles in a COVID19 ward.

Hello again,

Still on the search for that British Airways flexi single (~my message from May 3th).
Now I'v been thinking about the inflight magazines of BA. Maybe, it was included in one of the seventies editions.

Someone remembering?

Thanks again
