Did BA make plans for LHR-CPT Cape Town A380 service?

Did BA make plans for LHR-CPT Cape Town A380 service?
The new longer A380 compatible CPT runway was planned to open in 2023. Is B779 service in the longer term more likely?

With BA double daily to CPT (and x3 daily during peak demand) if you’d asked that question 2 months ago, the answer would probably have been A380. In a post COVID world, who knows? Maybe double daily A350 would make more sense.
Edit: just considering flights from LHR, here.

And when will ZA re-open its Border?!

Endless speculation on almost every thread I look at, but EVERYTHING is in the hands of Destination Governments!
