And yet again I'm wondering why oh why I couldn't have managed to be 'stranded' somewhere nice and warm. Not too hard to manage a fairly civilised quarantine on the East coast at least...

Does anyone have any news about JER? Will it move to LHR or just stay suspended till BA resume Gatwick ops?

How long is a piece of string?

We in JER have NO flights apart from the daily SI to SOU ... that requires inbound pax to go into 14-day quarantine. Passenger ferries to FR and UK are all cancelled. We are in lockdown, apart from essential food/medical purposes and a bit of distancing exercise. We would just be happy to be able to get off the BLOODY ISLAND ... to anywhere!! Do I care about whether its LHR or LGW ... Nope.

Sorry, that may have come across a bit sharp. 🤪

Can you and your good lady not paddle a canoe to Guernsey or Sark?

Interesting thought, but Sark has closed its border to visitors, and I believe Guernsey’s local restrictions are more stringent than ours.

You can understand I’m getting a wee bit stir-crazy here! Thank <Deity> iWife and I are still best friends after 40 years together ... what it’s like in some households I shudder to think!
