BA currently lists London Heathrow – Beijing Daxing (from 14JUN20) and London Heathrow – Shanghai Pu Dong schedule for June 2020, however only following booking class open for reservation: A / C / E / B. Both routes scheduled as alternating days service.

British Airways in recent schedule update filed planned European operations for the month of June 2020. From London Heathrow, the oneWorld carrier plans to resume additional routes, offering 316 weekly flight departures (based on 10MAY20 OAG schedules data), instead of 1750 weekly listed as of 15MAR20.
As of 10MAY20, schedule listing also sees BA CityFlyer resumes operation, offering service from London City, Edinburgh and Glasgow from 01JUN20, while London Gatwick departures to be resumed by 01JUL20. Due to ongoing development, these plan may see further modification in the next few days.

Covid-19 flight operations | latest route info and schedule changes
With so many travel restrictions in place and flights being cancelled, which routes are or do we think will remain open?
I imagine until the UK brings in restrictions similar to Italy or Spain, people to remain at home, closure of bars and restaurants, internal flights will remain in place.
Is it safe to book London to Edinburgh or Glasgow with a degree of certainry?
Where else?
Where have there been no travel restrictions or flight cancellations?

I think our collective need to get places is going to have to very much take a back seat for the time being. Our company has cancelled all corporate travel and I have decided not to risk booking anything more personally. I accept there will be some essential travel required but I think people are going to have to recalibrate as to what is normal in what clearly are exceptional times.

Well I believe you can still get to Mexico... which given we have a holiday there with TUI on the 10th April is a very mixed blessing - right now I think my desire for a week of sun is overridden with a desire to stay put.
I have little doubt it will be cancelled but right now it's still on, and in fact TUI are still selling holidays to Mexico on that date...

I've heard its Tuesday. Both Iberia and BA (maybe rest of IAG too). Not looking good. Announcement of something major tomorrow morning when the markets open. There was a meeting today at Waterside.

The thing is probably less the getting to somewhere, it is the getting back. The issue with exponential growth is that a destination may appear perfectly safe, and a week later it has gone to the dogs. The situation is extremely fluid, think of Spain: it was not really on the corona map, and then pretty much over night it jumped to number 5 of the global leader board, and now you are not allowed to leave the house.
I for one will re-assess the situation as it evolves, where BA cancels I will request a refund, where they don't I will take the travel voucher. In the meantime I shall panic buy chocolate (as of yet easy to get) and keep netflix streaming.

My girlfriend’s housemate had her Ba holiday to Punta Cana cancelled today, despite the outbound flight operating. They said in the message they might to be able to guarantee they’d be able to get her back, which would figure if they’re stopping operations on Tuesday.

It depends on your interpretation of safe (i.e. what you stand stand to lose) and on how far out you are looking. I would guess you could book with a degree of certainty (maybe even approaching 100%) for travel this week. Looking further ahead it gets increasingly uncertain unless you have inside-track information that the UK government has already decided it will in no circumstances follow other European countries in restricting all non-essential travel. Ultimately that would be a political decision but it would be influenced by how successful current measures turn out to be in slowing the epidemic's progress. That's a lot of imponderables - too many to be talking about certainties at this stage.

Presumably the essential destinations for a skeleton service would be domestic services for which alternative routes are non-existent or impossible? JER, INV, possibly EDI and GLA depending on the government’s plans for trains spring to mind.
