Thanks Prospero for pulling this together.

I would also like to thank the staff member from the BA call centre in India that I spoke to this morning to bring forward our flight from
MAA to LHR. Kerala is now shut down. He was extremely helpful, patient and professional and was an asset to BA and found this very reassuring.

Several widgets were added to the dashboard today. Please let me know if there any other threads you’d like to see added.

So what are people doing as a rule to return to UK

So for instance Spain or Greece

Currently, to fly and get in, you just need to show...

Your NHS QR code showing you're double jabbed to get into Spain Greece etc
along with a filling in a location form

Easy enough
Then to return to UK...

Once again you show the double jabbed proof

Plus you need a PCR test on day 2

But there's chat on the forum of using a cheaper lateral flow test for £22 (chromdinamix) , which will cover the day 2 tezt

But do you need to show that this has been purchased or booked, before you are allowed to board your return flight home?

Does anyone check that these dat 2 tests have actually been done?

What's to stop someone just not doing the day 2 test? Do they come after you?

Day 2 test needs to (currently) be a PCR which you need to pre order and buy. You get a reference number which you need to enter on your Passenger Locator Form to board & return to the UK.

Not sure what checks are in place once you’ve arrived to ensure compliance, but they’re only £43 on RANDOX and I’ve done plenty they’re simple enough

I have an LA flight on the 10th. I am not sure what type of test I need or where I should get one in the London area. Any advice please?

You can get an approved at-home testing kit mailed to you and then do a video conference with a nurse. For the US entry, you have to add the fee for the video consult and can get the Rapid Antigen test.

It would be interesting to see data of which UK-bound flights were "clean" as opposed to the ones had a day 2 positive test.
And to know which cabins / rows people got traced from.

Any crowdsourced data on that?
