Where can I see BA hotel bookings?

I’ve recently made my first hotel booking through hotelsandcars.ba.com and I cannot see a way to view the booking online. I have the confirmation email from [email protected] which includes an 8 digit confirmation number, but when I go to ba.com to search for the booking I’m told that I need a 6 character locator. Am I missing something?

I'm not aware that you can view a hotel-only booking online.

(The six character code refers to a flight booking and if there is a linked hotel booking will enable you to see that also.)

Thanks fruitcage . I’m getting paranoid over nothing again. I like to be able to see my bookings online as the last thing I want is to arrive at a hotel in some far off place (in this case Moscow) to be told that there’s an issue with my booking.

I'm not sure whether or not it applies to hotels, but I've made a number of car hire only bookings through BA (in some cases for 1/3 of the price of going direct to Avis) and there's always been a 6 character booking reference to view via MMB, though it never shows up in the My Account -> My Upcoming Bookings area (understandably since that's for flights). It feels like a reasonable assumption that if it applies to car-only it should apply to hotel-only too, but sometimes reasonable assumptions are dangerous assumptions!

Can you please give an update as to what happened here? I have the same situation. Having spoken with BA I am starting to get the feeling I might have gone onto a scam website trying to look like BA.
