LGW departure boards

I hope the people on the 19:30 to JER aren’t too inconvenienced by the delay.

Perhaps equipment has been changed to a DeLorean?

Bad fog in JER this evening. Apparently the 1600 flight had to turn back. I’m on the 1745, currently delayed until 1930. Wouldn’t be shocked if tonight ends in the Bloc or the Sofitel...

Hmmm ... nothing here in St Helier, but the airport is on high ground.

JER looks like Ops Normal today, apart from a couple of FlyMaybe cancellations.

However, that may not last!

Very odd that we are leaving with multiple empty seats while most people weren’t offered any rebooking until Wednesday.

Yeah. Given that fog in JER is hardly an unusual thing I was very surprised how badly everything was dealt with this time. Telling passengers that BA isn’t booking hotels because ‘EasyJet got their booking in first’ is also unlikely to foster loyalty...

I was at LGW last Monday heading to OPO and there were a couple of flights similar, e.g. 15:30 delayed to 15:30.
