I can cover that, cheers. Plus my last year's tax return would do I guess.

Not that I think they'd need it as my current account is with Barclays anyway, so they'd know what's going through it.

Could be interesting, will watch this out and then when we know what it actually is will decide if it is worth it.

The HSBC Premier World Elite (paid card) quite often has bonus for transfers. Had the account for around 6 months and 2 bonuses so far for Avios Transfers.

Did this end up being cancelled / postponed due to COVID-19?

I searched around and couldn't find any newer info.

Is there any more insight on when this will happen and what it might entail? Thinking about taking HSBC up on their switch offer...

It was 25k Avios in October for opening an account so that is presumably what will be coming back.

Not sure how Drew Crawley is still issuing quotes given that he resigned before Christmas but there you are! Technically he is under contract for a few more weeks but I am told there is no sign of him.
Was there an ongoing earning element too?

To move it kind of needs to be better than that in my view

I am led to understand it is wide ranging, but how wide ranging I don’t know.

Launch now pushed into 2021 as Barclays thinks there is no appetite right now.

Can never understand people’s strange loyalty to their current accounts. Providing they are reputable and preferably not a ‘building society’ I think it could be a runaway success.

What’s wrong with a building society? Not capitalist enough?

Been burnt with outdated policies, poor IT and little flexibility.

Maybe that’s unfair but just my experience.
