CCR refurb coming soon?

Overheard in the past 48hrs, carpets and furnishings start to be changed in Feb, Terrance will be "upgraded" and become more of an "outdoorsey" feel from March? I think indoors is being funded/managed by different organisation than the Terrace. Anyone have better info?

Why is the CCR so much cooler (temperature wise) than the First lounge?

It can’t just be down to volume of people in it.

Didn't they do a furniture replacement for the terrace (or Terrance... ?!) not that long ago?

The sofa I sat on last time was saggy and worn. Needs a good noticeable turnover of new stuff.

Those high back sofas opposite the bar are not attractive or uncomfortable.

That's why I always have to sit at the bar...

I heard that the loungers on the terrace are going. Possibly some tables and chairs to eat to be added - was being considered at one point.

I wouldn't mind them being unattractive if they were comfortable.
