DXB to LHR

Hi,

I'm unable to check in online for the BA0104 on the 22nd Jan. It was originally scheduled for 2pm but has been brought forward to 1pm.

I assume its an equipment change (end of a conference), but could be liable to being bumped.

I forget how to check the loading / what ticket buckets are left.. Can you help?

Thanks!

The seat map appears to be the same for every flight that has been rescheduled. And the arrival time at LHR is the same both for the flights that have been rescheduled (at present, 22 Jan to 26 Jan in the availability displays) and for the flights that haven't (27 Jan onwards). So the 1300 departures are 9:00 in duration, and the 1400 departures are 8:00 in duration (which IME is more typical for DXB-LHR).

Which all suggests one thing: a different flight path from the usual.

Would be worth running an eye over the "why can't I check in thread too"...

Why can't I check in online? OLCI and boarding pass difficulties

Thank you

Thanks all - appreciate all the replies. I probably should have searched a little more than I did on the forum. Seems right it's being rerouted due to the Iran airspace issue, and by the looks not likely to be downgraded or bumped.

So fingers crossed its just an anomoly...

BA Flights to DXB and AUH are routeing over Saudia Arabia and Egypt at the moment avoiding Iran & Iraq airspace due to heightened political tensions in the Gulf.
