BA have cancelled all flights to PKX (Beijing/Peking) and PVG (Shanghai Pu Dong) "until 19 April 2020".
BA frequency to HKG has been reduced with effect from 13 February 2020 - see below for further details. From HKG, Cathay is running a heavily reduced schedule to mainland destinations until the end of March.
If you are due to fly to PKX, PVG and your flight is cancelled then you have refund, re-route and rebook options. BA can rebook on to several other airlines.
If you are due to fly to Hong Kong until 1st April you have refund and rebook options.
If you are transiting into mainland China you are also covered as above.
If you are transiting internationally (e.g. LHR-HKG-SYD) you are not able to move your flights, unless they are cancelled anyway.

Hello
my flights in July has been cancelled to Beijing and moved to a different flight 20 mins later. It says if I am not happy I can get a refund. My booking was through a TA so would they be able to process this or do I need to contact BA?
thanks

Via the TA. Depending on the TA they may well be on top of this, or alternatively won't have a clue about it, and some shades of grey in between. Either way you need to enter into a discussion with the TA, not BA.

Just called BA and the agent tells me no you cant get refund as its just a 20 min schedule change which is now 5 mins. But online portal says i can get a refund.
Did others manage to get a refund for their schedule changes?

the TA should refer to the guidelines that BA put on their travel trade site. You havent accepted the change and you are allowed to ask for a refund.

Anyone from BA here can check what it says on the trade site for my booking as i don't trust the agent. Just wondering whether this would have been updated on the trade site as yet? Under my manage booking on BA site it give me options and one of them is getting a full refund.

A cancelled flight always leads to the Standard Customer Guidelines, which in turn gives a refund option to the customer. This has been the case for the last 45 years to my certain knowledge.
Can you name the TA?

So much fun with all of this haha...
1st. Scoot move my HK>Singapore flight to 19:15pm - I think "okay that's not bad, just a few extra hours in the airport..."
2nd. BA cancel my London>HK flight and bump me to the later one, meaning I can't really make the Scoot flight without a running hard...
3rd. I book the last Cathay flight at 20:00 so I can get to Singapore the same day...
4th. Cathay flight cancelled and moved to 4pm... so can't make it that, BA flight gets in too late... so cancel and revert to running through the airport for original Scoot flight
5th. Scoot now have cancelled my flight completely and moved it to the 2nd without telling me. The only way I've found out is trying to manage my booking.
Only option I have now is arrive at 16:55 on BA flight, spend the night at Novotel, and then try for the 9AM Cathay flight to Singapore... (if that doesn't get cancelled too...)

Generally considered a good operator, at least compared to some TAs, but this is a good illustration why booking direct with BA can often be best. At this point you can insist on the refund (assuming you really do have a cancelled flight), or any refund they offer, and sue them (or work with your credit card issuer) for whatever they don't repay. EC261 eventually applies here, and the contracting party is BA rather than Carlton, so ultimately you are covered if there is a cancellation.
