Good move, the flight is very very lightly booked in all cabins.

That said on the 787-9 there aren’t any rear facing doubles and the division of the J cabin into two makes for quite a few “no step-over” centre and window seats.

On 380s, 777 and 747s, the middle block consists of a pair of rear facing seats, which are popular with couples and those with young children, but it also means more people have to step over the aisle passenger to get to that aisle. On 787s there are only 3 passengers in the middle section, plus 2 bulkheads so it's easier for single passengers to avoid the step-over or the stepped over, given that some will go to couples.

It is switching the 787-10 later on this year. Not sure if BNA is 747 enabled, but still the route's success is interesting.

Separately, BA are running very thin on 787-8s at the moment, so 787-9 are covering a lot of routes.
That is interesting. Will the 787-10 have First? I know that BNA has grown a lot over the years, but it’s funny to think of a BA 744 turning up, considering all those trips I did in the first few years we were married on a one class AA regional jet to connect to ORD to get home.

I for one would buy F if they had it on this flight. I am not happy they don't have it.

First is only available during the summer schedule when the loads increase and there is more demand.

And indeed they did kick everyone out. Thanks for the advice.

I used the restroom up front at one point and half the F cabin seemed to be filled with crew sleeping or watching movies. They must love this flight.
