LGW-VCE Jan. 14 Cancelled: Why?

Could some kind soul who knows how to find these things out please let me know why BA2584 LGW-VCE tomorrow (14 Jan.) has been cancelled? Weather? I'm actually okay with being rebooked onto a flight from LHR the next day, but I'm wondering why. Thank you.

From ExpertFlyer:

I'm no expert at all the codes but I'm fairly sure that one is "Industrial Action", note that could be at the airport, or ATC enroute, or some other action (which ties in nicely will KARFA's observations!)

The word that came into my head when I looked at the title was "strike", and so it turns out.

LIN, FCO and VCE are affected, and rebooking is allowed for non-cancelled flights until and including 19 January. That combination suggests it's the ground handling agent.[Edit: turns out to be ATC].

Expertflyer shows INDU, which I presume means some sort of industrial action.

EF says "INDU", which may mean industrial action?

Ah, I see. I was thinking of possibilities at the London end of the flight, not the Venice end. Thanks!
