It's her new Irish Passport, dontcha know.

How dare a minion point out her ID isn't valid. She's got a blue tick for goodness sake...

Probably her first ever one applied for solely due to Brexit.

At any rate, I see Sharon has chosen to move her business KLM now. I'm sure they'd have let her fly with an unsigned passport.

Why did she have to practice her signature for 5 minutes? Or, is this something I should be doing on a regular basis?

Doesn't look like a BA twitter fail. Angela is bang on the money. Could possibly have worded it better

Germany was very hot in refusing entry to people who hadn't signed their passports a couple of years ago. There were posts on here about it at the time. It takes literally seconds to sign the relavant page.

I think newer versions you need to sign on a separate page.

My first passport (1990) requied me to sign it. The next two - issued 2000 and 2010 have it pre printed on the photo page

I like Angela.

I think we all agree with Angela, but she could have done with better phrasing. And seems someone in BA social media team felt the same, hence deletion.

if the mods want to change the thread title to “BA Twitter truthbombs” I’d be ok with that

It's just not professional coming from a service provider. Even if Angela has a point, a more customer-friendly response would have been something simple along the lines of "we have to follow the rules, apologies." Let the rest of Twitter tell Sharon what she did wrong in that type of condescending tone.

It upset Rob a Gold Card Holder that also got a reply from #TeamAngela . As others pointed out he is an employer so almost double standards on his part.

The fact that Sharon started her post with FFS meant that she already lost my sympathy and #TeamAngela is now trending on Twitter in the UK and a lot of people definitely in sympathy for Angela. Still Sharon is now flying KLM .

Sharon was abusive to start with. She was dealt with appropriately.
The doubling down and her blue tick pals joining in make this very DYKWIA territory.
