The chicken biryani was very good and that’s coming from someone of Indian heritage.

of course, that’s the theory and practice does not always follow especially now that a lot of the most experienced crew have left.

Photos from my flight YUL-LHR on BA094 on December 17. Menu exactly the same as my wife's flight a week earlier.
I can honestly say this was the worst business class meal I have ever had! Both in terms of quality and quantity.
Salad was tasty but completely dry, no dressing was offered. It was literally just two bites.
The main was shockingly bad. It was 2 cubes of meat on top of some rice. However the cube on the left was just fat, there was no meat there. And the cube on the right, the lower half of it was fat. So only 1/4 of the meat was edible.
The cheese bowl was also ridiculous. 2 tiny dry pieces of cheese, some tomato sauce(!!!!!) and a single grape.
Dessert was ok, but again just two bites.
The only nice thing in that meal was the bread.
I would describe this meal as pathetic and shameful.
Discarded "meat"
I also have a photo from my son's child meal. I tried a few bits of it and it was miles better than mine. Pasta and meatballs in tomato sauce, chicken and egg potato salad, fruit cup and creme caramel tart. Pasta was dry, but the rest of the meal was quite nice!

this was my asian veg.
sorry pic not great, but it was very tasty. Better than the F food we had a few weeks previous.
It does look a touch burnt though ...... maybe the LPGS affected my vision a bit.
Tho the CC said it was supposed to be like that...😬

Is there a special meal one can order that's always a winner on BA? Anything to avoid the above slops. Terrible.

MOML
Roast lamb and veg.
This was really good. Good size portion of meat, all of which was edible with no fat or wastage.
The potatoes weren't the best, but still more than adequate.
I'm pleased.
