Avis and 1000 bonus Avios after 4 rentals in a year
There is a provision for a bonus of 1000 Avios if you rent with Avis at least 4 times in a year.
How long do you need to wait before these Avios are posted?
With some rentals requiring manual adjustments for the Avios to post, I wonder if I will have to claim the loyalty bonus manually somehow.

I have rented from Avis four times in my Avis Preferred membership year and recently received a mysterious 1000 Avios from Avis in my account over Christmas. Could this be the same thing? My most recent car hire was back in August!

Got mine in the App - not expected. Required scanning on my next rental. Did so at MAN in early November, and -----nada. Chasing for 1000 Avios is not on my list of things to do in 2020.
