I once spent a few days loading ba97 all the way back to 1963, which was quite tedious!! https://ba97.com/map.asp |
104000 miles this year 50000 business 54000 pleasure, and requalified for gold after just 4 months in my tp earning year.

52 flights
89245 miles Just 4 new airports MEL,SIN,HAJ,GIB |
Not a lot compared with some on here. 48232 miles across 20 sectors, of which only 3 BA (although they were with a 241). First trips to HEL, YVR, YYC, SCL and CJC (Calama in Northern Chile).
New airlines: Norwegian (very good) and LATAM. No airline status achieved this year, but have maintained Marriott / Accor Plat and Hilton Diamond. T |
As for me. Well I've been far too busy working to get away I'm afraid.

Who keeps track? I'm guessing around 75 segments total. Just 12 or 13 long-haul, among those 8 ultra long-haul.
Of those 75, around 40 *A, 20 OW, 15 ST. |
75,436 miles and 1,835 TPs - both significantly down on 2018
38 sectors, 23 business, 15 leisure New airports – IND (by WN – not BA though). Classes (Long Haul, Mid-Haul, Short-Haul) Econ: BA: 3LH 6SH, AA: 9MH WN: 2SH WT+: BA: 9LH Busi: BA: 3LH 1SH ‘First’: AA: 2MH 2SH Upgrades BA: 1 FLUB, 1 WT+ to CW – both as a consequence of aircraft changes (only seem to get them on IRROPS now....). 34 flights, 50,000 files.
None of them BA (the shame!) https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7bc9b847e.jpeg |
37 flights for me, 44,219 miles on 5 airlines.
New airports DME, BLQ, KIX, NRT, PVG, SHA, SPU, VIE, SVO, WEH New airlines: China eastern, JAL, Spring Airlines, Finnair Best airline: JAL Year Highlight: First First back from Shanghai Worst Airline: Spring Airlines (30 rows on an a320 with a bulkhead at the front and two proper toilets at the back) Wierdest experience: China eastern to Weihai - spending the last 30 mins of the flight in darkness with all the window blinds closed (seriously claustrophobic), so nobody could take photos of the military equipment below or at the airport. Best lounge: Tie between Cathay and Qantas T3 Heathrow Worst airport: Weihai (not possible to buy a drop of alcohol) Worst lounge: Split before the new terminal (Shanghai 77 lounge after split got sorted out) |
72602 miles
79 sectors airlines BA AA AY BE new airports BDL BOS (by accident!) CDG CLT EDI GVA INV ORD SOU YYZ 41% First 56% business 3% economy |
I no longer count (it’s painful), but I reckon I broke the 200 mark sometime in mid-December. Just completed my last flight of 2019, and have 3 days respite from airports and flying which is great! Rounded out the year with my first BA Club Suites flight, which I had been waiting for quite some time.
Looks like I’ll break 10k TPs this membership year, whilst also retaining *A Gold in 2 other programmes, one of which SQ gifted me KF Gold for an unknown reason. I’m getting a little bit tired of DOH, despite the great QR product. |
94 segments for: 168,761 nautical miles great circle distance (312,545km)
new airports: kgl, ebb, fai, tbs, Mia best guess for next year fewer segments at 84, similar distance at 168,011 nautical miles (311,157 km) |
