FUN: best thread/moments of BAEC FT 2019

As we arrive in the last few days of the year, I thought it would be a good time for reflection. What has been your favorite, most engaging/entertaining post this year?

For me, hands down the 'bringing McDonalds into First post" https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...rst-class.html Cracked me up no end, but also made me really think.

Be a sport and share your favorite moments

Who wasn’t touched by CWS’s cuddly toy repatriation efforts?

For some reason I had it in my mind as 2018, but yes, an absolute class act by CWS! Faith in humanity restored

No contest as far as I’m concerned.

It just has to be the infamous & unique BA Afternoon-Tea-which-doesn’t-actually-include-tea.

It wasn’t a post, but following the Babybus meet-up on BA1, eleven of us (if memory serves) managed to squeeze into the A318 cockpit on the ground at JFK. Thank you to the excellent cabin and flight crew for their good humour and patience!

That’s surely an FT record, at least?

I really enjoy this thread:

It was what got me to actually sign up to FT after being a passive observer. I am amazed at the number of destinations we all travel to and even more amazed at how quickly people are able to identify the locations, sometimes down to the specific gate or lounge.

Always a classic but I'm hopeless at it haha

For me it was my first paid ex-EU on QR J to Australia thanks to a tip off from here in 2018. About to depart on another next week.

Long may that continue. For me I can also add getting 3 club world returns, all UuA and only a net use of 40000 avios after earning 110000 back through using my credit card and bonus avios offers
