Thx. I'm aware of the current routes. I wanted to ask since I don't see anything about YVR. Guess YVR ain't that important to BA. The B747 is getting kind of old now? Hopefully in a few years then.

A380 in the summer, (52J) 747 in the winter.

So by the same token, you presumably consider that JFK is not that important to BA? Equipment allocation is not a popularity contest, just an attempt to match seat capacity, range, and rotations to markets.

The A350 might be a good match for YVR in winter. However, assuming the summer A380 continues, I think it is unlikely that BA would offer F during summer but not in winter. I suppose there is an outside chance that, in time, YVR could get the 787-10.

How long have they been offering the seasonal A380 for now? I want to give it a try before it's retired from the fleet. I'm not too excited about the 787. I've already flown AC and UA 787s and I find it to be meh...Seems like the A350 is the better aircraft.

I did a 2 for 1 in F on the A380 to YVR back in 2016. I think that was its first year and has always been seasonal. Additionally, I don’t think the A380 operates for the full summer schedule.

We did YVR A380 in J last September. It was the best service I’ve had on an airline in a pretty full J cabin with seasonal cruisers. Extremely enjoyable flight.
