Flying start - tax implications

I found myself wondering in a recent flight how much is known about how the BA/Comic Relief Flying Start initiative spends its money. Can anyone point me at any information? Also, I was wondering whether BA will be able to use the size of the charitable donation (effectively made by others) to derive a tax benefit?

Flying Start is under the umbrella of Comic Relief, which is itself the "trading name" of Charity Projects, which is registered number 326586 if you want to download its accounts from the Charity Commission.

I am sure donations made by the public go straight to the charity, not through BA's books, and therefore BA would not derive any tax benefit from those.

Of course if BA makes a donation of its own money then under the usual UK tax rules that is most likely tax-deductible. But that's not an additional benefit as a result of anything collected from passengers.

Thank You. A cursory look at the most recent accounts don’t seem to have any explicit mention of Flying Start. It seems odd given how many people must donate that there’s seemingly no transparency here.

BA states that "100% of money raised by Flying Start goes directly to Comic Relief funded projects."

It is mentioned on p15, under ‘Fundraisers and corporate partners.’
