The RAAF operates several Hot Air balloons (used mainly for PR/school visits etc in areas with no airport) and I believe they missed a trick with their registrations....nothing special at all....(They have purely civil rego) The joke about them is that they are the slowest aircraft operated by the RAAF.... now that the DHC-4 Caribous have been retired....
