SDC specific flights - 8th Dec 2019

Currently at Heathrow, booked on BA418/9 to and from LUX tonight, in CE

attempted to change to 416/7 in the gold wing but told 416 is full. Itís showing on expertflyer as Y4 and everything else zeroed.

Have I got any options? Iím assuming the Y4 is an overselling limit, but I seem to recall some sort of gold benefit allowing guaranteed seat on a flight. Iím too cheap to pay any actual money of course.

any ideas welcome. Iíll likely wander up to GC a little later to ask again at the ticket desk.

Just keep checking and preferably ask them not to check you in for your return as it makes fcod harder to perform.

There is unfortunately no seat guarantee for fcod nor waiting list.

Also note that FCOD must be in the same class of travel so technically, you can't downgrade from CE to Y though they may find a way to override the system at LUX. Also check differences in loads across different POS.

I am not sure if you can SDC/FCOD between CE to Y, as far as I am aware its "availablity in your cabin"

Is this a simple out and back, or a connecting flight?

With checkin probably just closed it looks like there are 2 unoccupied seats in CE

Yes the change must be to the same cabin class as well.
